    Sandy Whitehouse - Realtor®/Broker Biography

    Sandy is a world traveler with a lengthy career in the travel industry. Her ast venture in that field was to operate a Bed & Breakfast Inn in a historic Plantation House in Edgefield, S.C. Articles about her Inn, along with her popular recipes, appeared in numerous publications including Victoria Magazine, Augusta Magazine, The Sandlapper and Aiken Magazine. After selling the Plantation, Sandy began a new career in Real Estate.
    She and her husband have bought and sold real estate in several states and found their investments in that area were very profitable.

    Sandy began working as a Real Estate Sales person at Eulalie Salley and Company, a world class independent real estate firm, in Aiken, S.C., in early 2004. She worked there until relocating to the beautiful mountains of Western North Carolina. In 2005, Sandy studied for and successfully passed the exam to become a N.C. Licensed Broker. She began working with Carolina Mountain Realty in the spring of 2006. In the summer of 2006, she obtained the designation of e-PRO. She is a member of the Yancey/Mitchell Counties Board of Realtors. Sandy is also a member of the Carolina Mountain Club, The Humane Society, nationally and locally, and works with a Siamese Cat Rescue group. She lives on a mountain overlooking the Black Mountains and Mt. Mitchell with husband, John, and 3 dogs and 3 cats!
